California child expense reimbursement deadlines

California Family Code §4063 sets how reimbursement of uninsured health costs and child care works when an order does not set its own terms.

When it is used: Only when your order is silent
Citation: Cal. Fam. Code §4063(b); FL-192 (Rev. Sept 1, 2024): pay within the period the court set, or if none, within 30 days of notice of the amount due (or per a provider/agreed/court schedule).

The disputing parent pays the requested amount first and may then ask the court for relief.
