Consumer Health Data Privacy Notice
Version 2026-09-27 · Effective September 27, 2026
This separate notice concerns health-related information in Venns, including protections that may apply under Washington's My Health My Data Act. Venns is an organizational tool, not a healthcare provider. A claim that data is outside HIPAA does not mean it is unprotected.
1. Categories, sources and purposes
Health-related information may include medical expenses and receipts, medication or care records, appointments, health-related documents, messages and notes, and health details contained in a decree or other uploaded document. Sources are you, authorized family participants and people you permit to submit or share content. We process it to provide the specific organization, communication, recordkeeping and export features you request, secure those features and respond to lawful requests. We do not use it to infer advertising audiences or market healthcare services.
2. Sharing and optional processing
Authorized family participants and invited recipients can receive health information through the sharing actions and permissions you choose. Configured hosting, private storage and delivery processors may handle the information needed for those functions. If you request AI extraction or another optional provider feature, selected health-related content may be disclosed to that provider after the feature's separate notice and consent. Providers are identified in the Privacy Policy and feature notice. We do not sell consumer health data. Where law requires consent to collect or share beyond a necessary requested service, we must obtain the required separate consent; acceptance of the general terms is not that consent. This notice does not authorize an otherwise unlawful disclosure.
3. Access, withdrawal, deletion and appeal
Contact SevenH Tech LLC at the published contact to request access to consumer health data, a list of relevant third-party recipients where required, withdrawal of consent, deletion, or review of a refused request. We verify identity proportionately and honor the applicable deadlines and rights, including deletion propagation to processors and relevant recipients where required. Backups and retained records require assessment under the applicable law; the application's ordinary shared-record retention is not a legal denial by itself. An appeal can be sent through the same contact with the subject Health privacy appeal. You may also complain to the relevant regulator, including the Washington Attorney General where applicable.
4. Location and security
We do not use check-ins to continuously track you or establish geofences around healthcare facilities. On-device check-in coordinates are not uploaded to the check-in server. Information you write or upload can nonetheless reveal a visit or medical location. Do not upload unnecessary health details. We apply the service's access controls and private storage to health-related content and must assess any suspected breach under applicable state law and, where relevant, the FTC Health Breach Notification Rule. This notice is not a promise that every healthcare privacy law applies to every record or that a breach cannot occur.
